<p>Some of the men who built Liverton village hall includes the vicar of Liverton Rev.P.J.S. Russell 5th fom left. Angela Cockburn tells us: &#8221;The man in the pale trousers at the front second left is my grandfather John Cockburn (known as Jack)who lived at Petches Cottages at the time.&#8221;</p>

<p>Alan Franks tells us:<br />
 This is a photo of 1st St Helens Troop B P Boy Scouts Football Team 1919-1920. My dad George Franks is the small lad 3rd from right, he would be 12 or 13 years old at this time. I have no further information.</p>

<div><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">After making the comment about Tom George’s height on the previous image of Liverton Mines chapel, I asked his Daughter Iris if I could send you this one.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">Tom was employed on Skinningrove Iron works, and by the look of it he was in the platelayers gang as he sports a hammer that was used to relocate the wooden chocks that had come out of the rail chairs – I think you will agree that he was a tall man for his time, but very much a gentle giant. Tom was very well known in both Liverton Mines &amp; Loftus – sorry but the name of the other person in the image is unknown as is the date.</span></div>
