Help wanted please with missing names and the date.
Thanks to Marilyn, Derick Pearson, Barbara McBurney and Tony Nicholson for names to date.

The Watson sisters now grown up.

The Watson sisters of Carlin How Alice was one, Annie was another, but what was the name of the third one? The 1911 Census in addition lists Bessie 6, Alice 4 and Annie 3, which means there are discrepancies for the date listed. Derick Pearson confirms this fact. Can anybody assist?
Grateful thanks to Gabby Moggie and Derick Pearson for information received.

Thomas and Jane I am surmising are the parents, with from left to right, Rita, ?? William and Kate, are there any families of these still in the area? Derick Pearson tells us: ”I believe Dorothy Limon (nee Webster) is a Grandchild of these, and if so The Mini Market along Brotton road at Carlin How is owned by Great Grandchildren of these folks. Andrew, Sarah etc.”
Thanks to Derick for that update.

Already marked with the names of the participants (a bit unfortunate, maybe someone has an unmarked copy of the photograph we could use?) – but where was the photograph taken?

Four young speed merchants if the caption is to be believed!
Who are they and where are they – simple ehh!

Another view of the theatre, with a line of seated ”relaxed” gentleman outside.
Anybody any ideas as to names? One suggestion from Kathleen Kelly is that the gentleman second from left is Charles Biott?
Thanks to Kathleen for the update.

Another photograph taken in the jubilee year of Carlin How Club the men are all named, Colin Verrill tells us: ”it was taken on the tennis court next to the tennis pavillion, there were two red shale courts and four grass courts”.
Thanks to Colin for the update.

Carlin how Working Men’s Club, yes once it was a man’s domain but not any more, women are now on the committee. When this photograph was taken in the jubilee year of the club it was men only in the bar and billiard room. some of the men here are, seated, in front, Mr Husband and Mr Winspear, standing behind them is Bob Butterworth, the steward and stewardess are unknown to me – maybe you know their names. The lady at the far end of the bar is Mrs Webster and standing next to her is Mr Webster, some of those seated to the rear are, Ted Simpson, Dick Tyreman, Tom Ward, Derick Smith, Brian Yeoman, ??, Brian Ferguson.
The Steward and Stewardess were my Nana and Grandad – Charlie and Mary Partridge. They moved on to pubs in the Darlington area after this.
If you know any more of the men please let us know.
