A very early picture of Rosecroft, (or as it was titled in those days Loftus County Modern School) possibly before it offically opened. David Archer has informed us that it opened in early 1963, so presumeably this photograph was taken before the opening.

I’m fairly certain that the original photograph has the details of who is who and why and where, but I’ll throw it open to the floor to tell me who these people are, what the occasion was, and where it was. (Reverse of the photgraph indicates Presentation to Head Boy and Girl: with Mr Norminton, Mr Tidman looking on – John).
Of course if you are either of the two youngsters in the image then it should all be fairly easy for you!
